A message from the founder

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families worldwide of those lost due to the terrorist attacks on the "WORLD TRADE CENTER", "THE PENTAGON" AND "UNITED FLIGHT 93 CRASH". We pray that GOD will give them the peace that passes human understanding and comfort them in their grief. We pray for the leaders of our country as they make those critical decisions that will shape the future of our country's security. We are grateful that GOD has come to the forefront in just about every venue; even those with no belief turn HIS way when there is no place else to go. We pray for more opportunity to serve those in need. We pray that GOD will continue to raise HIS army to reach a lost and hurting world. Join us as we "haul the message of hope".

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Blessings,
Chuck

Forty years ago our country seemed invincible. We were strong, smart and wealthy. We were the world leaders militarily, economically, technologically and educationally. Nothing seemed impossible for us; nothing seemed out of reach; we could do anything! Then we made a fatal mistake. We began to believe that our great success was a product of our own strength. The TEN COMMANDMENTS came off the wall; prayer was banned from public schools; abortion was legalized; free love began to rule as an alternative to morality. In one generation the Biblical principals, upon which this nation was founded, were challenged and in many cases torn down.

In 2001 we are walking through the devastation of those decisions like a soldier through a minefield. None has been immune from the effects. From the White house to the schoolhouse to our own homes, we see the devastation clearly. We are crippled by political scandal, violence, abuse and divorce, just to name a few.

IS THERE HOPE FOR AMERICA?

We are going to find out. We will be asking that question everyplace we go. At the terminal, the truckstop, the shipper, the consignee, the CB and anywhere else the opportunity arises, we will ask the question and share our beliefs. We, Hope Haulers, are a strategic alliance of individuals, businesses, churches and ministries who are willing to survey our country's people to see what they feel. Hope Haulers will be sharing their stories, their lives, and yes, their hope, not only for America, but also for the world. We will share the secret that our nation is trying to keep from us; GOD is good; Jesus is Life; and "Christ in you is the HOPE of glory".

Allow me to share with you the burden that GOD has placed on my heart.

The time is now for HIS children, the Body of Christ on earth, to unite and become one. GOD's desire for us to become one in HIM was made known and JESUS' prayer for us to be one was expressed in John 17: 20-21. The result would be, "so that the world might believe".

GOD has chosen to rise up Hope Haulers all across this nation to reach their workplace with the message of hope. HE has also chosen to share that message with the up and coming generation in schools across this country.

Hope Haulers is privileged to be watching these things happening right now. Thank you for your willingness to be part of this movement of hope.

About Us

Who we are-- Hope Haulers is a strategic alliance of businesses, ministries, churches and individuals.

Our beginning-- We began in May, 1991 as the Association of Christian Transportation Services, Inc. (ACTS) with the chartered purpose of helping develop and fund transportation related ministries. On April 27, 1995 we received 501(c)3 non-profit tax exempt status from the IRS. At the same time Christian Transportation Network was begun to provide funding sources by aggregating purchases of products and services. In March, 2001 we decided to use the name Hope Haulers as our primary identification. As is the case with all non-profits, any products or services sold by Hope Haulers are considered taxable income and are not deductible as charitable contributions by the purchaser.

UPDATE: In the summer of 2004 we decided to surrender our tax exempt and non-profit status for a variety of reasons. We are not interested in favored status by our government in return for silence on political issues. If people choose not to contribute in order to share our burden for drivers, their families, the lost and the needy, so be it. We have never solicited contributions of a charitable nature for our needs. Our solicitations from time to time have been for others' needs. We have been called to give with joy to the point of sacrifice. If you feel differently, we are certain you will find a worthy cause to redirect your assistance.  Our goal at Hope Haulers is to build Kingdom Finances. Our entire effort is for that purpose, not just a portion.

Our Mission-- We will bring both the message and evidence of HOPE for SUCCESS to as many people as we can possibly reach. We understand that HOPE is that ingredient in life that causes man to continue living…without it man ceases to exist. We understand that SUCCESS means different things to different individuals and groups.

Our vision-- We will raise up an army of 1,000,000 Hope Haulers who will be active carriers of the message of HOPE to their immediate sphere of influence. For the young, that is the school yard and campus; For the adult, that is the workplace.

What We Believe

God - God made himself known to us in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The three persons are the one and only true, Eternal God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory, though distinguished by personal attributes. We believe that it is the Spirit of God working through the Word of God in the lives of the people of God that is the key to spiritual maturity, an effective witness, and a victorious life in Christ Jesus.

Salvation - salvation comes by the grace of God alone, upon a person's decision to say yes to God's gracious offer of salvation. Good works are a sign of salvation, not a means. Sin separated man from God. All persons are guilty of sin. The penalty for sin is death. God sent his Son to pay the penalty once for all on the cross. We must confess our sins, repent (change direction), and believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. Water baptism (an outward sign of an inward change) follows as the first act of obedience.

The bible - all scripture (in the original writings) is inspired by God. It is the infallible and inerrant word of God. It has the Holy Spirit as its author, salvation for its end, and truth for its content.

The church - Jesus said, "upon this rock I will build my church." it is His church. You cannot join it. You must be born into it. We are born again by the Spirit of God into the church of Jesus Christ. The purpose of His church is to bring glory to God. It is also for the perfecting of the saints, making the believers strong, bringing them into maturity, feeding them, loving them, and equipping them for the ministry that God has for them. All who have accepted the gift of salvation by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ are members of God's family. He has promised our provision in life. It is His desire that we accept His lordship or master position in working for Him. The master/slave relationship is what is least understood by most in the church. God is only in one business…He saves souls. He has prepared the harvest of souls. It is the responsibility of each one who claims the gift of salvation to work in that field of harvest. Our desire is to labor side by side with our brothers and sisters in that harvest field. We also assist in preparing those who need some tools to be more effective in His harvest.
